Terms & Conditions

1. Weather Considerations

At The Drone Inspector Ltd, we recognise that weather conditions can impact drone operations. While we incorporate UK weather patterns into our operational planning, unexpected changes can occur. To mitigate this risk, clients are advised to provide at least two alternative dates for scheduled operations. We cannot accept liability for delays or cancellations caused by adverse weather.

2. Operational Notice and Permissions

Drone flights will only commence once all necessary pre-flight safety checks are completed and all relevant airspace permissions and authorisations have been secured. Thorough planning and compliance with aviation regulations are fundamental to ensuring a safe and successful operation. We appreciate your cooperation in facilitating this process.

3. Operational Limits and Compliance

The Drone Inspector Ltd is certified to conduct drone operations up to a maximum altitude of 120 meters (Above Ground Level) and within a 500-meter radius of the pilots VLOS. Should your project require flights beyond these parameters, please allow a minimum of 28 days for approval applications to be submitted and processed by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

4. Adherence to Operations Manual

All drone operations are conducted strictly in accordance with the guidelines and protocols outlined in our Operations Manual, ensuring full compliance with UK aviation law and industry best practices.

5. Flight Safety and ‘Go/No-Go’ Decision

The Pilot in Command holds ultimate authority to make ‘Go’ or ‘No-Go’ decisions on any flight. If, at any point, the Pilot assesses that conditions pose a risk to persons, property, or the safe conduct of the flight, the operation will be halted. Clients will be provided with a detailed explanation and, where feasible, alternative solutions will be explored to meet your objectives safely.

6. Media and Imaging Rights

All images, videos, and other media captured during operations are produced exclusively for the client’s use. The Drone Inspector Ltd reserves the right to utilise media for promotional and marketing purposes unless the client expressly requests otherwise in writing prior to the operation. We respect your privacy and confidentiality preferences.

7. Quotations and Project Details

All quotations and financial commitments are based on the assumption that the information provided by the client is accurate and complete. Should there be any discrepancies, inaccuracies, or changes in the project scope, The Drone Inspector Ltd reserves the right to amend the quotation accordingly. Transparent communication is vital to ensure smooth project delivery.

8. Payment Terms

Payment is due within 30 calendar days from the date of invoice, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon in writing. Late payments will incur interest charges in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, at a rate of 8% per month calculated from the due date until payment is received in full.

9. Liability Disclaimer

£5m Public Liability Insurance, Including Commercial & Article 16 Authorisation.

While The Drone Inspector Ltd commits to delivering the highest standard of service, we cannot accept liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services. Our liability for direct damages shall be limited to the total amount paid by the client for the relevant services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
